These terms apply to orthocodes.net ("OrthoCodes"), operated by Aurelian LLC ("we"). By using the site you agree to them.

A reference, not billing advice

OrthoCodes helps you look up codes and draft the billing section of an operative note. It is not medical, legal, coding or billing advice. You are responsible for the codes, modifiers and documentation you submit. Confirm them against your documentation, the current CPT and ICD-10-CM code sets, CMS and NCCI guidance, and your payers' policies, or with a certified coder.

We work to keep codes, RVUs and rules accurate and current, but they change every year, payers apply them differently, and errors are possible. Dollar amounts are estimates: Medicare amounts are national figures before geographic adjustment, and "Your $" uses the rate you enter.

Using the site

• Don't enter protected health information. See the Privacy Policy.
• Don't scrape, copy the database, overload the site, or try to get around its security or rate limits.
• If you have an account, keep your password private. We may suspend accounts that misuse the site.

Ownership

The site, its design and its original content, including its plain-language procedure wording, belong to Aurelian LLC. CPT® is a registered trademark of the American Medical Association. ICD-10-CM is maintained by CMS and the National Center for Health Statistics. Fee schedule and NCCI data are published by CMS. OrthoCodes is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AMA or CMS.

No warranty

OrthoCodes is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aurelian LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for denied claims, lost revenue, audits, recoupments or penalties arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms at any time. If the terms change, we will update the date above. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
